Birth registration verification and online birth registration copy download

Birth Registration Online Copy Download Copy can be used to download or verify the birth registration i.e. to verify the authenticity of the information provided by the Government of Bangladesh Online Birth Registration Information System or Online BRIS website.

There is a website titled “Application for Correction of Birth Information” to revise the birth registration. Click here to enter the birth registration correction website. After entering the birth registration correction website you will see two empty boxes.

Provide the birth registration number in the birth certificate in the first box and the date of birth in the birth certificate in the second box. Fill in the captcha if it appears after providing the birth registration number and date of birth in the birth certificate. You will see information about the birth certificate on the server to provide the correct birth registration number and date of birth.

After providing the correct information on the mentioned website of birth registration correction, information related to birth registration correction will be displayed on the screen. You can apply for a Birth Registration amendment by following the given information.

Terms & conditions for correcting Birth Information

If the information in the birth certificate is incorrect, the birth certificate needs to be corrected. Some terms and conditions apply to the correction of birth information. E.g.

If it is necessary to correct the name of the father or mother, then if the father or mother has a birth registration number, they must first correct their name by applying for Correction of birth registration information with their birth registration number.

থাকলে If the parent does not have a birth registration number and the date of birth is before 01/01/2000, the name of your father or mother can be corrected while applying for the registration of birth registration information. In that case, even if the father or mother is dead, they do not have to submit any proof of death.
