Birth Identity of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman:
He was born in 1920 in the village of Tungipara in the Gopalganj subdivision of Faridpur district in British India to a noble family. His father, Sheikh Lutfur Rahman, was an accountant of the Sessions Court by profession, and his mother, Saira Khatun, was a domestic worker. He was the third of his father’s four daughters and two sons. From a young age, he was soft-hearted towards the poor.
During the famine, he used to distribute rice from his house. He used to help poor students. His educational career started in 1926. As a child, he suffered from beriberi and severe eye problems, which forced him to smuggle weapons, so he could not go to school for four years. After that, he started getting an education again. At one point he studied law and finished.
Centenary of the Birth of Bangabandhu
The Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina took initiative on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Sheikh Mujib on behalf of Bangladesh in the year 2020-2021 at the central meeting of the Awami League on 30th December 2016. But due to Corona, most of the work was not done well at the right time, so the time has been extended till December 16, 2021. Mujib is celebrating his centenary in 195 UNESCO countries. Every person of Bangladesh will always remember the words of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib with respect. We can’t forget.

হে বঙ্গবন্ধু! শুভ হোক, আজ তোমার শুভ জন্মদিন,
তোমার চেতনায় গর্জে উঠুক দেশ ও জাতি এই দিন,
তোমাকে জানাই; অন্তস্থল থেকে ভালোবাসার সালাম,
তোমার কাছে হয়ে আছি; জানা-অজানা কত শত ঋণ।
যত দিন বাংলাদেশ আছে; আছে মানুষ এই বাংলায়,
ততদিন রাখবো মনে তোমায়, লাল-সবুজের পতাকায়,
ধরে রাখব জীবন দিয়ে তোমার গড়া সোনার বাংলাকে
শুনাব; তোমার ত্যাগের ইতিকথা বিশ্ববাসীকে প্রতিদিন।
যেদিন আমি প্রথম গিয়েছিলাম; কলেজ জীবনে
আরো তিন বন্ধুর সাথে ঢাকাস্থ বনানী গোরস্থানে,
তোমার পরিবারের সদস্যদের কবরের সারি দেখে
হতবাক হয়েছিলাম বলে মনটা হয়েছিল সেদিন মলিন।
এ কেমন করে সম্ভব হল? এ কেমন অকৃতজ্ঞতা ?
সইতে পারি না ভাবলে-সিরাজুদ্দৌলার মত ভাগ্য কথা,
যাঁর ঐতিহাসিক বাগ্মিতায় কবিতার মত ফুঁটে উঠে ছিল
আমাদের প্রাণের দাবি; রেসকোর্স ময়দানে- একদিন।
আমাদের জন্যে তুমি; শত্রুদের কারাকে করেছ বরণ
আমাদের জন্যে তুমি শেষাবধি দিয়েছ সপরিবারে জীবন,
প্রমান করেছো সর্বকালের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ বাঙালি তুমি-
শহীদ বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান সত্যিই তুলনাহীন।
তোমার কবিতায় মুগ্ধ হয়েছিলাম; বাংলার স্বাধীনকামী জনতা
ঝাপিয়ে পড়েছিলাম; স্বাধীনতার জন্যে গড়েছিলাম- একতা,
যার কাছে যা ছিলো; তাই নিয়ে এগিয়েছিলাম- রণাঙ্গনে,
যুদ্ধের ন’মাস তোমার রূপরেখায় চলেছিলাম নিত্যদিন।
জানিনা! কি হতভাগা আমরা? কি হতভাগা দেশ ও জাতি?
বড় আফসোস হয়; দেশের জনকের সাথে করেছে- মীর জাফরী!
পলাশীতে হারিয়েছিলাম একদিন; সমূলে আমাদের স্বাধীনতা
তোমার যোগ্য নেতৃত্ব ছাড়া হতাম বিলীন- দেশ হত না স্বাধীন।।

দিয়েছিলে অত্যাচারের বিরুদ্ধে সংগ্রামের ভাষন।
পরাধীনতার শিকল ভেঙে লিখে গেছো ইতিহাস,
আর যেন তাকে বিকৃত করার পায়না দুঃসাহস।
সাহসে, স্নেহে, ভালোবাসায়, মমতায়, দুর্বলতায়,
আপামোর বাঙালির স্বপ্নদ্রষ্টা, প্রতিবাদী সত্ত্বায়।
তুমি থাকবে বাঙালির হৃদয়ে, অস্তিত্বে বহমান,
